PLaY Arena is Bangalore's premier sports and adventure park with more than 30 different activities that can be enjoyed by people of all age groups. At work, we're all either sports enthusiasts or fitness freaks and we knew we would be able to help PLaY create the sort of impact they were looking for online, and have fun while doing it.
PLaY's primary goals were to create awareness about the park and to engage with sports enthusiasts across Bangalore. We analysed the performance of the page after putting up a good mix of content for the first month and discovered that actual images received greater engagement as compared to illustrated creatives. After this, we followed a simple yet effective approach - focus on well-shot image of visitors in action at the various adventure activities at PLaY for the daily content that went up on their social media channels.
We created a series of posts with statements that pitted international athletes against animals or objects and asked users to comment if the statement was a Fact or Fiction. The contest generated a lot of conversation amongst users on Facebook and led to a 10X increase in brand awareness for PLaY.
